Timegeist

AI-assisted logging

A proposal first. A fact only after you confirm it.

Describe work in plain language, upload a schedule screenshot, or connect Google Calendar. AI reads messages and screenshots; read-only calendar imports create proposals without counting toward your AI allowance.

Timegeist uses AI to reduce blank-page work, not to silently decide what happened. Dates, duration, client, project, billable status, and privacy stay in your hands.

Human work, structured carefully

See a proposal stay under your control.

Timegeist structures the input you chose; you correct and confirm what becomes part of the record.

What stays connected

Less cleanup at the end of the month.

Natural language

Write the way you remember

A short sentence can become structured fields you can inspect and change before saving.

Screenshot proposals

Read a schedule screenshot

Upload a PNG, JPEG, or WebP of a calendar or agenda and review the time-block proposals it produces.

Optional Google Calendar

Calendar stays read-only

Google Calendar events can enter the same proposal inbox without Timegeist editing your calendar.

The flow

One decision at a time.

  1. Evidence

    Choose one starting point

Send a message, upload a screenshot, or sync a Google Calendar event.

  2. Proposal

    Inspect every proposed field

Check the date, start, duration, project, billable status, and privacy before confirmation.

  3. Decision

    Confirm, edit, or discard

Nothing becomes a time entry until you choose what to do with the proposal.

Product boundary

AI can misunderstand incomplete context. Timegeist deliberately keeps proposals separate from confirmed entries so you can correct or discard them.

FAQ

Questions about ai-assisted logging.

How the workflow behaves before you make it part of your day.

Does AI save time entries automatically?

No. Messages and screenshots create proposals. You decide whether to edit, confirm, or discard each one.

What counts as an AI use?

One use is counted when Timegeist returns a proposal or grounded answer from a message, saves at least one screenshot proposal, or saves a manual Coach insight. Failed attempts and clarification questions use none. Manual entries and read-only Google Calendar proposals also use none.

Can I correct an AI proposal?

Yes. Proposed fields remain editable before confirmation, including client, project, duration, billable status, date, and privacy. Rates are configured separately.

Can Timegeist change my Google Calendar?

No. Calendar access is read-only and creates reviewable proposals; Timegeist does not create, change, or delete calendar events.
